If you are studying for the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) N3, there are nearly 4,000 vocabulary words you need to learn. That may sound overwhelming, but you already know many of these Japanese words. In this Nihongo quiz, let's focus on the JLPT N3 words you may not know yet--the ones that are just a little harder than the run-of-the-mill JLPT N3 vocabulary. For an extra challenge, turn off the furigana (hiragana above the Kanji), and see if you can read the Kanji correctly.
